There arent any instructions, just pictures with the french written underneath and 2 people saying the words. Unfortunately they don’t put in the english translation so if you’re not sure what they are referring to in the picture you can’t learn it. For instance “Un singe” is under the picture of some sort of monkey or baboon, but it doesn’t say which it is. Not being that familiar with the hundreds of species of primates by sight, I had to get the translation on google to know that I was learning the word for monkey. I know enough French to know that they are referring to a male monkey, but people without any french at all wouldn’t understand the difference between “un” and “une”. The word for a picture of a guy leaning on a car is “Il est debout”, so are they referring to the the guy, the car or what? After looking it up on google the translation is "He’s standing". But how would you know that it means “he’s standing” or “he stands” or “he’s leaning” or “he loves his car”?
